The governor of Kufa is to exploit the kalif’s trust in the 3rd episode of iFilm’s historical series ‘Imam Ali (AS)’ to be aired at 23:00 GMT tonight.

I have to inform you that Abdullah ibn Masud has broken his allegiance to you and has provoked people in Kufa to revolt. If Abdullah isn’t summoned to Medina as soon as possible, Kufa will fall”.
The series, produced by Mohammad Beikzadeh and directed by Davoud Mir-Baqeri, will hit the air daily at 23:00 GMT (02:30 Tehran time) with three repeats the next day at 05:00, 11:00, 17:00, except Saturdays.
The epic series focuses on the life of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib. It covers the events before the caliphate of Imam Ali (AS) to his martyrdom in Kufa, Iraq.
The series cast list includes Daryoush Arjmand, Vishka Asayesh, Sirous Gorjestani, Ali-Asghar Hemmat, Parviz Parastoui, Behzad Farahani, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Mehdi Fathi, Atash Taqipour, and Abbas Amiri-Moqaddam.
The long list of popular stars goes on with Azita Hajiyan, Akbar Abdi, Fakhri Khorvash, Farideh Sepah-Mansour, Davoud Rashidi, Saeed Nikpour, Enayat Bakhshi, Reza Karam-Rezaei, Parvaneh Masoumi, Hossein Panahi, Jamshid Mashayekhi, and Shohreh Lorestani.
‘Imam Ali (AS)’, made in 1997, is comprised of 25 episodes.
