Meet the so-called genius who wrote his own version of the Quran in iFilm English TV’s historical series ‘Imam Ali (AS)’?

When the new leader of Kufa, appointed by Imam Ali, goes to the city, a so-called genius who imitated the Quran's verses and wrote his own version of the Quran stops him.

Then he claims that his verses are like miracles and threatens Ali’s representative to cut his head and send it to Ali as a gift from the people in Kufa.

The series, produced by Mohammad Beikzadeh and directed by Davoud Mir-Baqeri, will also be repeated the next day at 05:00, 11:00, 17:00, except Saturdays.

The epic series focuses on the life of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib. It covers the events before the caliphate of Imam Ali (AS) to his martyrdom in Kufa, Iraq.

The series cast list includes Daryoush Arjmand, Vishka Asayesh, Sirous Gorjestani, Ali-Asghar Hemmat, Parviz Parastoui, Behzad Farahani, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Mehdi Fathi, Atash Taqipour, and Abbas Amiri-Moqaddam.
