Arbitrators depose Ali and appoint Mu'awiya in iFilm English TV’s historical series ‘Imam Ali (AS)’.

Mu'awiya’s arbitrator tricks Ali’s arbitrator and deposes Imam Ali (AS) while appointing Mu'awiya as the caliph.

“They disobeyed the order by the Quran. They saw the truth, but they ignored it. They killed what the Quran had revived. And they revived what the Quran had killed,” Imam Ali (AS) said after hearing the decision made by the arbitrators.

The series, produced by Mohammad Beikzadeh and directed by Davoud Mir-Baqeri, will also be repeated the next day at 05:00, 11:00, 17:00, except Saturdays.

The epic series focuses on the life of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib. It covers the events before the caliphate of Imam Ali (AS) to his martyrdom in Kufa, Iraq.

The series cast list includes Daryoush Arjmand, Vishka Asayesh, Sirous Gorjestani, Ali-Asghar Hemmat, Parviz Parastoui, Behzad Farahani, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Mehdi Fathi, Atash Taqipour, and Abbas Amiri-Moqaddam.
